The requirements for becoming a Yin host are as follow.

First, you must attend the program that you want to host. After the program, you will be invited to apply for a Yin Host role. The application includes filling out a form about your experience and your motivation, followed by an interview. If selected, you will participate in two days of training before beginning your new role and certification in Yin Hosting.

Members are expected to rate their Yin hosts on a continual basis so that the quality of work can be ensured.

Yin hosts are responsible for sharing news of the program on social media, as well as helping The Yin Leadership Network to find new members to join their cohort.

They benefit from a new sustainable revenue source and have an opportunity to improve the living curriculum of the program.
